I'm tryin' to figure that out. I mean teeth in the neck and a whole lot of bloodsuckin' sounds like a vampire to me.

[Hell, Angela wonders how he sounds so calm about it. She would have had a nervous breakdown about it.]

You won't turn into one, though. I had a friend that was one. He was nice, didn't eat people. [Somehow she feels the need to defend Angel's honor, even if he isn't here anymore. He truly was the only vamp she felt comfortable enough to invite in.] He told me you'd have to die with a vampire's blood in you first. Don't worry, okay?

[That last part is more for herself than for him, actually. It doesn't sit well with Angela that there's a potential vampire running around the City looking for succlent necks.]

I figured that out when I woke up after sunrise.

It's alright though. I got my blood tested you know, just in case. [Freddy would be lying if he said vampirism was scarier to him than AIDS or Hepatitis.] Thanks.

Did your friend know any of the other vampires around here?

[She huffs a laugh that's part amusement, but mostly relief.]

Just the one that came from where he was from, but I think he left with Angel. And then there was Eric, but he left too.

Yeah, he works at the Blue Light. I've spoken to him a few times before.

Personally, I don't know, but I'm going to assume he's the one who bit you. Add that with Claire's very strong opinion on him and you might get your answer.

Claire don't seem to know the guy real well. You ain't the first person to sound not too surprised by it either. This happen often?

Him biting people? No, I didn't even know he was a vampire. I just know she called him an ass or a jerk a couple times before. To be honest, I'll have to call him that too for going around biting people.

You know what? I'll feel better if I did. That and avoid the bar for as long as possible.

On second thought, maybe I'll just stay home. They can't come in unless I say they can.
