[Maybe Eames recognizes the sound of his bike approaching. Here comes Freddy Newendyke pulling up to the curb. Helmet off, cigarette plucked and placed in his mouth. He hasn't lit up just yet though.]
[ There's only one person short enough to be the silhouette that opens the door at the sound of the bike. Did you want a smoke, Freddy? Because Ariadne's impatient. ]
Took you long enough. [ This is said as she blocks Pancake with a foot before he can rush outside to say hello. ]
[ Ariadne is in some whirlwind all of her own tonight, and Eames has called Orange in for back up. Also to talk to Orange one-on-one about a few things going on personally, though it might have to wait for a later date. Still, all this is something he's been considering for a long while, and he fails to see the harm in sharing something all three of them could enjoy. There's a bigger shadow behind Ariadne that appears, his fingers wiggling in a wave. ]
[ He leads Ariadne by the shoulders so they stop blocking the doorway. He lets Orange smoke inside because at least it's only an occasional thing, and it's something he can air out later on. They've more important matters to tend to, anyway. Once the door is shut and locked behind the three of them, he continues. ]
You remember when I told you what I did for a living, yeah?
[ Luckily Ariadne's arms are full of corgi, or else she'd swat at Eames for moving her around. Still, at least Orange is inside now, even if the puff of smoke in Pancake's direction makes the fat little dog sneeze. ]
You told him?
[ That would've been nice to know. It's not like she doesn't trust Orange, though, so she doesn't sound too upset. Just surprised, and she's bending down to set Pancake on the floor a moment later. Unsurprisingly, he goes to sniff at Orange's shoes. ]
That day with the candy hearts, [ Eames mentions to Ariadne casually - that's how it'd come up on Orange's end, anyway, and Eames hadn't bothered to continue denying it.
He addresses Orange next, though. ] Do you want to try it out? Ariadne and I thought we'd offer you the chance.
[Hah hah, that dog. Freddy grabs the nearest cleanish looking thing to use as an ashtray. Then he has to look from Ariadne to Eames and back to Ariadne then back to Eames.]
You enjoyed it, [ Eames protests this very much, by the way. But back to the point- ]
You may not remember it, when you wake back up - though it depends whether or not you're the sort to typically remember your dreams in the first place.
Whoa whoa whoa hey. You are not putting me in drag. I don't doubt what you do [He directs part of this emphasis directly at Eames.] you don't need me to play the part, I believe you.
[After a beat.] Not that there's anything wrong with drag.
I'm not going to put anyone in drag. [ Let's just get one thing straight. If Eames decides to pull on one of his ladies, well, that's just another thing entirely. But not for Orange's first experience - don't want his projections closing in on them before they even spend a minute. Best if they make either Ariadne or himself the subject, then. ]
We might not be able to have too much freedom, [ He quips to Ariadne, gesturing to Orange. ] But we can see what he gets up to.
Mario. [ She never can remember what was out in 1992 and what wasn't.
There's a nod back at Eames, her expression thoughtful. ] You have better control than I do. It might be better if you're the subject. [ He was the subject last time, but still. She's going to let him cover the safety concerns as well, since... well, he's been doing it longer. ]
[ Eames shakes his head, moving toward the living room so he can sit down. The PASIV device is sitting, closed in its silver briefcase, innocently enough on the coffee table. ]
It's safe. [ There's no sedatives in this concoction - besides, Eames was one of the persons involved with the initial testing purposes. What they deal with now is completely smooth with little side-effects compared to how things used to be. ] No one would utilise the technology if it wasn't safe.
[He knows why some of them go into dreams, what Orange means is why do they want to try it on him? It's not that he doesn't trust Eames and Ariadne, it's that if he were in their shoes this would be the start of one long joke that's going to end in a hilarious embarrassing and savory punchline.]
[ Ariadne follows, settling on the floor instead of the couch or a chair, one arm resting on the coffee table before her head settles on top. Pancake flops down next to her, head on her knee. ]
You've never felt like showing off? [ The arm that's not being used as a pillow scratches Pancake behind the ears, other fingers lightly drumming on the table. ]
[Oh. Oh. Well now it sounds like a challenge. Orange quirks a brow at that, detecting a tone of well if you can't handle it which very well might be in his own mind. Either way the 'damage' is done.]

[He was lounging lazily and sadly without Mr. White in nothing more than his briefs. Now though Freddy's got jeans and a t-shirt on, small blessings.]
So what's going on? [A wave of his smoke to Eames too as he addresses both.]

I hear those are helpful. [ Ducking down to pick up Pancake now before he keeps running into her ankle. Eames can answer. ]

[That said in greeting to Pancake with a slight puff of smoke, heh heh.]
Yeah?
[He nods, inside and 'secure' so it seems. It's almost like a set up for a bachelor party kidnapping.]

Eames put me on stage in fishnets last time. [ That's about all she's got for catches. ]
