[ Eames doesn't leave Orange waiting for too long, strolling in on his break from the shop. He drops into the chair across from him, mouth curling upward. ]

Long time no lunch. I heard you've been partnering up with Ariadne.

We work in the same building. It just happened.

[He shrugs once, casual, like he's explaining how he and some girl just hooked up without Eames knowing. Sometimes that's what Orange thinks other people are thinking when he and Ariadne are out together.]

[ Eames takes it with a hum of thanks, glancing through the specials. ]

Some guy named Mister Blonde. [ He orders some tacos and a cola from the waitress, smiling a bit at her as he forks over the menu. ]

[COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH. That was a terrible sip of his soda. He even loses the cigarette in his miniature fit.]

[ Eames sits up in his chair, catching the cigarette before it can fall in the salsa. ] You all right?

[orangetoughguy]

I'm fine. [Squeaky wheezy voice.] Wrong pipe.

[Hard to believe coming from a guy who's mastered the art of deep throating.] Thanks.

[He gestures for his cigarette.]

[ Soda's more bubbly than cum, so Eames will give him that, anyway. He passes it off, the column pinched between two fingers. ]

[Pinch and pull. Whew, that smoke is a temporary relief.]

You talk to the guy much? He any good?

Not very much, no. Saya likes him, though, well enough. Better than the girl who keeps taking time off, I suppose.

Fuckin' peachy. [That's sarcasm disguising his own real concern on the matter.] So she let you take the broom back huh?

[Referring to Eames' old job, did he ever graduate to junior mechanic?]

[ Eames still has little to no interest in cars aside from boosting them. ]

How's things at the Stark house?

It's alright, I like it. And it's not because it's Tony Stark.

[He uses his cigarette to point at Eames before putting it out. Okay tacos and tamales it is.]

How're things at your house?

[signatures]

[ Uh huh. Whatever you say, Mister O. ]

It's all right. The usual sort of affairs. [ At least Cobb isn't so sick any longer. ]
